Facilities at Athens Airport include restaurants,
cafes and bars, Bureau de change, ATMs, shops, car hire desks
and a business area. With is well provided with special facilities
for disabled passengers. Athens Airport has two large terminals
and there is a covered walkway connecting the two terminals.
There are as many as 4,700 parking spaces for carsincluding
both long and short term parking. The long-term car park is
connected to the airport by a shuttle bus.
Taxis are easily available when you arrive
at Athens and the taxi rank is just outside the arrivals hall.
Taxis are quite an inexpensive way to travel to the centre
of Athens especially when shared. Taxis take about thirty
to forty five minutes to travel into the city centre.
For public transport to and from the Airport to the centre of Athens, there are express bus routes and the metro. The metro goes to Monastiraki and to the Port of Pireas. The journey time by metro is about 30 mins to the centre of Athens and about one hour to Pireas. The cost of a metro trip is about €6.

and routes in the airport. The cost is about €3 for a
single trip to or from the airport and you can buy a ticket
on the bus.
